My Service to you
You can expect me to reply to your emails and to send you any paperwork following your consultation within two business days. I don’t work on Sundays or Mondays, and I’ll let you know if I am going to be away and out of contact.

Referral Policy
Your welfare is my paramount concern and I will refer you to another therapist if I consider they are more suited in terms of specialism or approach, based on discussion with you and with your written permission.

I strive for a good relationship with medical and other recognised healthcare professions, as acupuncture complements, and doesn’t replace, medical care.

Working With Children
I work with children who are under sixteen years of age, with the written consent of their parent or guardian, and with their parent or guardian being present.

From the age of 16 to 18, children are presumed by law to be competent to give consent for themselves and may if they wish attend a consultation without their parent or guardian present for all or part of the appointment. However, I warmly encourage them to involve their family in decision-making and planning as their goals will be more achievable with their family’s support.

Complaints
If you have a problem with any aspect of the service you have received, please email me in the first instance. You can take a problem further by contacting my registering body, the British Acupuncture Council who will be able to help. You can also contact my professional association for advice.
